Clinical Research Center
At the University of Connecticut Health Center’s (UCHC) Clinical Research Center (CRC) the future of healthcare is being invented every day. We invite you to be part of the process.
The CRC network plays a very important role in the advance of healthcare by supporting investigation of new forms of medical diagnosis and treatment. Here at the UConn Health Center, healthcare professionals conduct a wide range of research programs, especially in the areas of infectious disease,
dentistry, cancer, cardiovascular disease, bone metabolism and musculoskeletal disease, addiction and alternative medicine.
And the scope of work being done here continues to expand. In the last five years new centers have been added to study vascular biology, molecular medicine, the role of microbes in disease, and the immunology of cancer and infectious diseases. Nearly 50 new research faculty members have been recruited to support this growth.
The Clinical Research Center is an exciting place to be engaged in the quest for better ways to combat disease and promote health. We welcome your interest. Whether you are a researcher, clinician or potential volunteer, the purpose of this site is to make it easy and convenient for you to find the information you need to get involved with the CRC.
